Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and savvy individual to join our team as an Online Media Analyst. The position plays a central role in the planning and execution of online advertising campaigns. As an Online Media Analyst, you will be exposed to a range of clients, projects and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the client service team to ensure all client goals and objectives are translated into the online advertising campaigns.
- Research consumer behaviors and make recommendations - on where to run the advertising and what tactics are best to utilize.
- Compile client presentations including media and budget flowcharts.
- Work with ad sales reps to negotiate potential ad placements, purchase approved media and gather creative specs.
- Develop keyword list recommendations for paid search with corresponding ad copy.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure the ads being developed are within the publisher guidelines.
- Setup display campaigns in the 3rd party ad server (DART), test and traffic out ads to publishers.
- Setup paid search campaigns in the various interfaces (Google, Bing, Yahoo).
- Work with the client service team to confirm the client has all tracking implemented and functioning properly.
- Monitor live online campaigns (display and search) – Troubleshoot ad errors, provide performance reports, ensure buys are being delivered, etc.
- Provide recommendations on how to improve the performance of online campaigns.
Requirements
- Extremely comfortable with the MS office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
- Experience planning, buying and trafficking online media
- Familiar with third-party ad servers (DART, ATLAS, MediaPlex etc.)
- Experience developing, executing and maintaining paid search campaigns
Knowledge of research tools a plus (Nielsen NetRatings, ComScore, Quantcast, MRI, TNS Stradegy, @plan) - Highly organized and detail oriented
- Passion for advertising and innovative technology
- General understanding of HTML and Flash

Time Commitment:
The position is full-time, on-site and requires a minimum 40-hour work week.
