Congruent Media is a full-service internet solutions provider. Currently a 15-person team, we provide our clients with high quality website development, internet marketing, application development and strategic consulting. Our client base ranges from small start-ups to publicly traded companies.
Position Overview
Working as part of a small creative team of Designers, Developers, and other production personnel in our Baltimore, Md office, this position will be tasked with architecting, developing and maintaining complex web applications for Congruent Media clients.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning new technologies and programming languages, and be flexible enough to take on projects that may stretch his or her skill set.
This is an opportunity to work, learn and grow in a fast-paced, exciting environment. You will often be required to work independently, hit tight deadlines, multi-task, and work on projects with a quick turnaround. The position requires someone who is flexible, dependable and up for a challenge.
Key Requirements
- Experience architecting and developing .NET/C# web applications using the Visual Studio IDE
- Experience designing and developing Relational Databases, specifically MS SQL Server
- Experience publishing and consuming web services
- Understanding of development life cycle and how business rules apply to applications
- General understanding of Javascript, HTML, jQuery and other common languages and tools
- Some knowledge of web scripting languages (AS, ASP, ColdFusion and/or PHP) a plus
