MDLOTTERYRAVENS.COM: A HUGE SUCCESS.
Working with Pollard Banknote Limited and the Maryland Lottery, Congruent Media launched MDLotteryRavens.com on August 10th. The website was developed to be the central point of the second chance entry system on the Ravens Cash Fantasy Scratch-Off Ticket. Through the site, players simply needed to register an account and enter in an 11-digit code found on the bottom of their scratch off ticket(s). Each code gave them a yard value which they could accumulate and use to enter into various drawings ranging from Autographed Footballs and Jerseys, to the grand price of Season Tickets for Life.
Through 5-months of the ticket’s existence, the website has been a tremendous success. Traffic to the website has eclipsed 520,000 visitors with the average player spending over 7 minutes and viewing just short of 10 pages per visit.
Stating that player participation with the website has surpassed expectation would be an understatement. Over 97,000 players have registered accounts. Those players have submitted over 436,000 entries into drawings. The average total yards collected by players is just under 400 yards per account.
All of these great numbers and we still have the grand prize of Season Tickets for Life to be drawn. Now if only the Ravens can make a final push for the playoffs…
