More often than not, her job is to crawl inside the depths of your mind, scoop out your ideas, and hold them high for the world to see. It sounds a lot like high-stakes Vulcan mind-meld with a spectator sport twist, but Marybeth makes it seem far, far gentler, I swear. And she'll never ask you to bring up your childhood, we swear. Unless you're running for public office.
We affectionately refer to Marybeth as "Happy" Morseberger. It probably has something to do with her sunny personality. As she says of herself, in third-person, "[Happy] won't apologize for being a positive person!" That's why we love you, Happy! That and the fact you remind us of Mary Tyler Moore . . . and that you foster-parent abandoned kittens. That's really sweet!
